L-Carnitine

L-Carnitine is derived from two amino acids: Lysine and Methionine. Small amounts of the amino acid L-Carnitine are synthesized in the liver and kidneys, but many people's lifestyles require more L-Carnitine than the body can produce on its own. Supplements of L-Carnitine encourage optimal energy production and metabolism. Acetyl L-Carnitine supplements may also increase the body's ability to transport fatty acids which breakdown dietary fat.
