Phosphatidyl Serine
Phosphatidylserine, like Lecithin, is commercially derived from egg yolks or Soya. Similar to Lecithin, Phosphatidylsernine supplements are often used to enhance cognitive functioning because of Phosphatidylsernine's relationship to acetylcholine. Supplementing with Phosphatidylserine is believed to increase cholinergic activity in the brain by stimulating acetylcholine production.
