Nature's Life Selenium is grown using a specially selected strain of baker's yeast - Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The selenium is metabolized by healthy, growing yeast cells. The result is a pure food-grade yeast rich in Selenomethionine and other seleno-amino acids - the natural food forms of selenium.
